Overview

It is a horrifying sight when the officials arrive at the Old Main Bridge in Frankfurt: there, hanging on a rope tied in a butterfly knot, is the corpse of a woman anointed in rose oil. This macabre handwriting immediately reminds Julia Durant of the serial killer Dietmar Gernot, whom she put behind bars years ago.
